TechWomen Leadership Program in the USA 2023, Fully Funded
TechWomen is a five-week mentorship program for female professionals in the STEM field:
• Science
• Technology
• Engineering
• Mathematics
TechWomen is a professional exchange that supports the advancement of the status of women and girls around the world and promotes development in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to enable women to reach their full potential. Women working in STEM fields from 21 countries in North Africa and the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South and Central Asia will travel to the United States in September 2022 for an intensive exchange focused on promoting collaboration in science and technology. Applicants may select one of six tracks when applying: information technology, green technology, science, internet, biotechnology, or telecommunications.
The program will begin in California in Silicon Valley with a series of workshops focused on leadership skills, innovation, and design thinking, followed by individual 15-day fellowships at leading innovation companies and organizations in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. Each participant will complete a mentorship and each participating country will work as a team with Impact Coaches to formulate an action plan to address a specific challenge. Participants will also engage in community service projects in California and participate in cultural and recreational activities. TechWomen 2022 will conclude with a three-day program in Washington, D.C., including a visit to the State Department to allow participants to debrief State representatives on their exchange experiences and team projects.
The TechWomen program takes the health and safety of our 2022 participants seriously, and are taking all necessary steps to ensure we can deliver both a safe and successful program.
