Anhui Medical University Chinese Government Scholarship 2026-2027 High-level Postgraduate Program

The “High-level Postgraduate” Program is a sub-program of the Chinese Government Scholarship. Based on the principles of “individual application, university recommendation, expert review and merit-based admission”, the program aims to select international students with excellent academic background, professional capability and future development potential.

The “High-level Postgraduate” program is an independent enrollment program of Chinese colleges and universities. In principle, Chinese tutoring is not provided. The duration of scholarship for professional study is consistent with the basic length of schooling, with 3 years formaster candidates and 3 years for doctoral candidates.

Application Requirements:

1. Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and psychological health.
2. Age, educational background and language requirements:

• Applicants for master’s degree should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor’s Degree, have excellent academic performance, and be generally under the age of 35;
• Applicants for doctoral degree should have a master’s degree oran equivalent degree to a Master’s Degree, have excellent academic performance, and be generally under the age of 40;
• Applicants for study for master’s and doctoral degrees in Chinese as the teaching language must acquirethe Chinese proficiency of HSK 4;

Application Documents

2. Front page of passport, if the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before September 2026), please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;
3. Notarized highest academic degree and diploma certificate / certificate of enrolment (in Chinese or English). If the applicant is currently a student, they must submit a Certificate of Expected Graduation or Study Verification issued by their institution. The expected graduation certificate must specify the expected degree to be obtained and graduation date. A Certificate of Student Performance is also required.

4.Academic transcript (bachelor’s degree or above, in Chinese or English). Transcripts in language other than English must be attached with notarized English translations.

5.Pre-admission Notice (This document will be officially issued by the university after passing the qualification review and assessment process)

6.Personal statement and research proposal (more than 1,000 words), The research proposal for doctoral applicants must be signed by a prospective Chinese supervisor

7. Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors)
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The physical examination results are valid for 6 months.
9. Language proficiency certificate,Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English sufficient for academic study. A minimum TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.0 is required. 10.NonCriminal Record

Notes

1. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the application procedure for Chinese Government Scholarship, it is recommended to complete the online registration on China Scholarship Council’s website (https://www.csc.edu.cn/ ) before February 25, 2026, and pay close attention to your email address and other reserved contact information you have listed in the CSC Application Form;
2. Each applicant may receive the grant for one Chinese Government Scholarship program at mos, and the agency number for Anhui Medical University is 10366;
3. Scholarship winners are not allowed to change the admission institution after coming to China. In principle, they are not allowed to change their study majors and timelimits;
