ETH Zurich Scholarship in Switzerland 2024/25 Year, Master’s programme

The ETH Zurich Scholarship in Europe aims to make education accessible to highly qualified students. The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) supports students with a scholarship, mentorship and a network of the ETH Foundation. The scholarship covers the full study and living costs during the Master’s degree course.

Eligibility

1. Very good result in Bachelor’s degree programme (top 10% of Bachelor’s degree programme = grade A)
2. Please make sure to be reachable under the telephone number specified in your CV as the selection process might include a phone/VC interview in February

Benefits:

• The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP consists of a scholarship covering living and study expenses (CHF 12’000 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver.
• ESOP is awarded for the regular duration of the Master’s programme (three or four semesters). This also applies for the tuition fee waiver.
• Only ETH Bachelor students may start the ESOP with a leave of absence.

Application Documents

• CV of the candidate
• MSc or Masters Diploma and academic transcript(s)
• 1-2 page application letter, stating the motivation to attend the programme and the impact for the candidate’s career development and beyond
• Two professional references
• Formal admission letter by the School for Continuing Education confirming that the candidate is admitted to the MAS, DAS or CAS programme for the respective semester.
• Certificate of English level (minimum TOEFL level C1) or other internationally recognised English certificates. If the programme requires a minimum level in another language, proof of this acquired level must also be submitted.
