At TU Delft a number of scholarships are available for excellent international applicants. Justus & Louise Van Effen Excellence Scholarships are financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940’s and strongly believed technological developments will contribute to solving societal issues.

The Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen was established with the aim of stimulating excellent international MSc students and financially supporting them in their wish to study at TU Delft.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must show outstanding academic performance, and they should be admitted to any 2-year TU Delft master program.

• Furthermore, they must hold a bachelor’s degree from any internationally renowned institute (not from the Netherlands).

• applicants shall submit their English proficiency with the application (if required).

• Applicants must submit all the required documents at once; the application will not be considered.

Required Documents:

• CV

• Portfolio

• Motivation letter

• Proof of Identity/nationality

• English language proficiency certificate

• Bachelor’s Diploma (an original certified copy)

• Reference letters (previous professor or assistant professor, employer)

• Transcripts (original copy, front & back both, should be in original language)

Application Process:

• Check the eligibility if you meet their requirements and criteria.

• Complete your application, and upload the scholarship application form, and the reference letter (English, German, French, or Dutch).

• Then upload all the supporting documents and English proficiency test scores.

• The application deadline for the TU Delft Scholarship program is 1 December 2022.

• Students shall check their emails frequently; successful students will be informed by the end of March 2022.

Note: You may submit one application per academic year and apply for one MSc programme only.
