JSU Presidential Scholarship 2024 in China

JSU has 27 schools and colleges and offers 98 undergraduate programs, 15 doctoral programs of the first-level discipline, 45 master’s programs of the first-level discipline, as well as professional master’s programs of 21 categories. These programs are offered in the following 12 academic disciplines: Engineering, Agriculture, Science, Medicine, Management, Economics, Law, Education, Literature, Art, and History. The University also houses 13 postdoctoral research stations.

Doctoral Degree Programs

• Type A: Coverage: Tuition and Accommodation Fee, with an extra Living Stipend (CNY5,000 one time)

This category of scholarship is open to the following students:

1) Excellent JSU students continually studying from the master degree to doctoral degree;

2) Applicants recommended by the “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities;

3) Graduate applicants from the top 1000 universities in the world (according to four internationally recognized universities ranking system, namely the US News & World Report, QS, THE, ARWU);

4) Graduate applicants from “First-class Universities” in China; graduates from the program of “First-class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI.

• Type B: Coverage: Tuition and Accommodation Fee for other students.

Master’s Degree Programs

• Type A: Coverage: CNY25,000

This category of scholarship is open to the following students:

1) Excellent JSU students continually studying from the bachelor degree to master degree;

2) Graduate applicants from the top 1,000 Universities in the world (according to four internationally recognized universities ranking system, namely the US News & World Report, QS, THE, ARWU);

3) Graduate applicants from “First-Class Universities” in China; and graduates from the program of “First-class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI.

• Type B: Coverage: CNY20,000 for other admitted students.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs

• Type A: Coverage: CNY 10,000 (the first year ONLY)

This category of scholarship is open to the following students from these new programs:

Material Science & Engineering

Agricultural Mechanization & Automation

Vehicle Engineering

Energy & Power Engineering

Food Quality & Safety

Construction Management (Intelligent Construction & Management)

• Type B: Coverage: CNY10,000 (every year)

Requirements:

1. Age requirements:

Bachelor’s degree applicants: under 25 years

Master’s degree applicants: under 30 years

Doctoral degree applicants: under 40 years

2. Living stipend mentioned is CNY 5000 for first year, which will be deposited to student’s bank accounts according to attendance.
3. For master’s degree and doctoral degree programs, the scholarship will be renewed once a year after annual evaluation of the student’s performance (awarded scholarship from second year may increase or decrease according to evaluation points).
4. Transferring of major by bachelor students who availed JSU Presidential Scholarship in the first year, shall be approved only after the student compensates the scholarship amount back to the university.
5. JSU Presidential Scholarship graduate students who apply to quit JSU should compensates the scholarship amount back to the university before leaving.

• Not compatible to winners of other scholarships.
• Only applicable to overseas students who take English-taught degree programs.
• For all Chinese-taught degree programs: 40% discount on tuition fee
• JSU reserves the right for interpretation and explanation.
