PETRONAS opens applications for studying Turkmen students in Malaysia.

PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd has begun accepting applications for participation in the Block-I Education Sponsorship educational program for admission to Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in 2026.

Candidates aged 17 to 25, unmarried and having graduated from school with high grades in chemistry, physics, and mathematics are invited to participate. English language proficiency at the level of IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL iBT 50 is required. Candidates must not have higher education and must not be studying at other universities.

The program covers the following fields: chemical and petroleum engineering, civil engineering, computer and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, petroleum geoscience, and integrated engineering.

Selection takes place in two stages: written testing and an interview to assess the candidate’s English language level, critical thinking, and potential.

Documents are accepted at the PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd office in Ashgabat at the address: Turkmenbashi Avenue, 81, Block B.

Reception is carried out Monday through Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.
