Saint Petersburg State University scholarship
Saint-Petersburg State University has announced admission of foreign citizens for studies on the main programmes of Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and postgraduate studies for the next academic year.
The University is accepting the documents from the applicants who apply for studies which are financed from the federal budget from November 14, 2022 till February 24, 2023.
The admission process can be completed remotely (online), because the admission examinations are conducted in the form of a document competition (portfolio).
Documents are accepted digitally; to submit the documents, it is required register in the applicant’s Personal Account in the section «Приемная комиссия» on the University website and upload the required documents.
How to apply:
- Register in the Personal Account (http://cabinet.spbu.ru/) on the website of the Admission Commission of SPbU
- Fill in, print out and sign the application form for admission to one or more study programmes (not more than three).
- Submit the signed application form together with the required documents, Portfolio documents through the Personal Account
Required documents:
– Application to apply for an educational programme of the respective level in the form specified by the Admission Commission (to be filled in during registration in Personal account)
– Application questionnaire (download the questionnaire) for participation in the competition in the specified form, filled in typed letters, with an attached photo ( completed questionnaire with the candidate’s personal signature must be scanned and uploaded to Personal account. Paragraph 25 of the questionnaire only needs to indicate “Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет”. Paragraphs 30, 31 do not need to be filled in)
– a copy of a passport/ ID
– a medical certificate confirming that there are no contraindications for studying
– a medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV and AIDS
– education document and its annexes, completed in the required way (school or university transcripts with grades for the last 3 half-years of studies can be provided. After receiving your final certificate/ diploma, please upload the file to your Personal account)
– 3×4 photo

The deadline is November 14, 2022 to February 24, 2023.
The names of successful applicants will be published on the portal of the Admission Commission of SPbU no later than 17 March 2023.
Applicants who are recommended for admission should send a letter with information confirming their interest in studying at SPbU or a letter of rejection from SPbU to admission@spbu.ru by March 24, 2023.
