The Embassy of India in Ashgabat invites applications for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarship 2025 year, bachelor’s, MSc and PhD degrees

Embassy of India, Ashgabat is pleased to inform that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has announced scholarships for Turkmen Nationals to study various subjects at UnderGraduate, PostGraduate and Research level as well as to pursue study of Indian Culture such as dance, music, theatre, performing art, sculpture, Indian languages, cuisine etc. in various universities/institutes in India during the academic year 2025-26.

ICCR has rationalized the list of Universities/Institutes for scholarship and now there are 131 Universities/Institutes on board with ICCR for the academic year 2025-26. The list of Universities/institutes will be reflected in application Portal when opened.

The applicants have the option to apply to 5 Universities/institutes in the order of their preference of study.

The applications will be invited online through ICCR’s A2A Scholarship Online Portal https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in

Necessary supporting documents:

• A recent passport size photograph not more than 3.5×4.5cm (25kb) should be uploaded on the application form in the space provided.The photograph should be with white background and without spectacles.
• Age Proof (Birth Certificate /Any Unique Identity issued by the Government indicating clear date of Birth)
• Copies of all academic qualifications, certificates and marksheet, including those relating to school leaving examination must be uploaded.
• Recommendations / character certificates from existing school/University etc
• Certified copies of relevant pages of candidate’s valid passport showing photograph
• At the time of uploading the required documents kindly ensure that all documents uploaded correctly in the given module e.g. module for educational certificates should only be uploaded with the educational certificates only not other documents such as passport copies or photographs etc.
• Original Certificates/ documents must be carried by the Applicant if admitted for verification by the concerned University/ Institute at the time of joining.
• In case of Engineering courses, you must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in your school leaving examinations as this is mandatory for Engineering courses.
• Certified copies of documents showing specific qualifications required for the course of your choice (such as GMAT scores for admission in MBA, TOEFL/IELTS scores for English courses etc.)

Note: The application will not be considered without English translation of documents if the original documents are not in English.
