International Youth Festival 2026

About the Program

The International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg 2026 is organized by the World Youth Festival Directorate as part of the “New Generation – 2026” project. The festival promotes international youth cooperation, strengthens humanitarian ties, and facilitates the exchange of experience and joint initiatives in the fields of public life, culture, science, education, and entrepreneurship. The main program days are scheduled for September 11–17, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

The festival welcomes young people between the ages of 14 and 35 (inclusive).

• Ages 14–17: The applicant must have turned 14 by July 1, 2026, and must be under 18 as of September 8, 2026. Participants who turn 18 between September 11 and 17, 2026 are also eligible.

• Ages 18–35: The applicant must have turned 18 by September 8, 2026 (inclusive). Participation is not available to those who are 36 or older as of September 17, 2026.

• Video introduction (mandatory part of the application)

• Additional documents will be provided upon email confirmation

Travel Arrangements for Foreign Participants, Compatriots, and Foreign Participants Residing in the Russian Federation

For participants aged 18–35:

Travel reimbursement depends on the results of the competitive selection process:

• Participants with the highest scores will have their travel costs covered by the organizers (to and from the venue).

• Participants who do not score high enough will be asked to cover their own travel costs, or have them covered by the sending party.*

The sending party may be a government body responsible for youth policy, a university or college, or an employer.

For participants aged 14–17: Travel to and from the festival venue is fully covered by the organizers.

• Transfer during the event
