Fully funded Scholarship in Romania for the academic year 2024-2025, BS, MS, PhD

The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) and the Ministry of Education grant 40 Scholarships each year for international students to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees from the Romanian accredited state institutions. Candidates worldwide are eligible to apply except the EU and EFTA member states for the ARICE Scholarship Program. Moreover, there is no application fee, and applicants will undergo a one-year Romanian Language Course for Free to understand the Romanian Language. Financial Benefits

The ARICE Scholarship Covers:

  • No Registration Fee
  • Free Romanian language prep year
  • Full tuition coverage (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD)
  • Monthly stipend
  • Free Accommodation
  • Medical assistance
  • Free local and domestic transport

Priority Areas

  • Priority given to applicants in:
    • Economics & Business Administration
    • Agricultural Sciences
    • Technical Sciences
    • Oil & Gas
  • Other fields considered

Scholarship Duration

  • Bachelor’s: 3-6 years
  • Master’s: 1.5-2 years
  • Postgraduate/Residency: 3-6 years
  • Doctoral: 3-5 years
  • Note: Dental medicine, stomatology, and pharmacy are excluded from scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Scholarship is open to all Nationals except EU.
  • Priority is given to citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA states.
  • Romanian citizens are not eligible.
  • Citizens who have applied for protection in Romania are not eligible.
  • Citizens who have a long-term residence permit in Romania are not eligible.
