Turkmenistan Airlines Announces Selection of Future Pilots for Training at the Turkish Aeronautical Association University

OJSC “Turkmenistan Airlines” announces the selection of candidates for admission to the Turkish Aviation Association University (Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi) for the “Pilot” specialty with a 4 (four) year duration of study. Selection Procedure for Candidates:

Male citizens from Turkmenistan are accepted on a competitive basis based on entrance exam results, having passed a medical examination at the Medical Center of Ashgabat International Airport of the state service “Turkmenhovayollary” in accordance with ICAO requirements, holding at least a general secondary education, being no older than 25 years of age, and possessing a military service record confirming completion of military service in the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

Training begins after passing an initial interview with authorized managers of OJSC “Turkmenistan Airlines”, an interview and examination with representatives of the Turkish Aviation Association University (Republic of Turkey), as well as a medical examination conducted by a medical commission in Ankara, Republic of Turkey.

The candidate is required, within 15 days of being referred by the airline for examination at the Medical Center of Ashgabat International Airport, to submit a health certificate of the established form issued by that medical center.

Duration of study: 4 years.

Official documents are accepted in Ashgabat from April 8, 2026 to June 30, 2026.

• Application form (questionnaire) of the established format
• Passport (original and copy)
• Military service record (original and copy)
• General secondary or vocational/professional education certificate (original and copy)
• Health certificate of the established format issued by the Medical Center of Ashgabat International Airport of the state service “Turkmenhowayollary”
• Certificate from a narcology and neuropsychiatric clinic
• Reference/character letter from the last place of study or employment (or military unit)
• 8 (eight) photographs, size 3×4 cm
• For employed candidates: a certified copy of the employment record book

All candidate documents will be reviewed in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan. Candidates bear personal responsibility for providing false information or fraudulent official documents.

Entrance exams:

Entrance exams are held in the following subjects: English language (conversational practice, writing, reading), Mathematics, and Physics. Certificates of additional training in these subjects are welcomed. Knowledge of other foreign languages is also an advantage.

Entrance exams are held from July 1 to July 15, 2026 at the Aviation Personnel Training School of the state service “Turkmenhowayollary”, Ashgabat.

Candidates who successfully pass all entrance exams will enter into a tripartite agreement (Airline, Student, and Guarantor), under which the Student, upon successful graduation, is obligated to work 10 years in their position at the Airline.

Payments made by the Airline:

• Student tuition fees (theory and flight practice)
• Student dormitory accommodation
• Travel expenses to Ankara (Republic of Turkey) at the start of the academic year and return to Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) upon completion of studies

Payments made by the Candidate:

• Visa processing fees
• Health insurance
• Daily living expenses and meals
• Communication expenses
• Transportation costs during the study period
